Overview of NGF Corrected Inserts
  (due to many inquiries about the NGF inserts, we are posting a brief explanation)

As per the settlement agreement between NeoGeoFreak and SNKPlaymore, SNK-Playmore had to issue a public press release stating that the corrected inserts from NeoGeoFreak/NGF-USA are official and were authorized by SNK-Japan.

"the video games on the list below, and only those video games, were purchased from SNK Corporation Japan, and were sold by Neogeo Freaks/NGF USA with the permission of SNK Corporation Japan. These games were sold by Neogeo Freaks/NGF USA with the corrected English AES inserts with the permission of SNK Corporation Japan."

This was done to clarify any concerns on whether the NGF Corrected inserts were officially authorized or not. And as everyone can see, our inserts are indeed 100% official and were authorized. Thus giving peace of mind to any and all clients who purchased AES cartridges with the NGF inserts. The games listed included every game for the NeoGeo system up until KoF2001. This also covered MVS only releases that were available by NeoGeoFreak/NGF-USA as AES cartridges (aka conversion cartridges).

At least we were able to do all these things with full authorization from the former SNK-Japan and SNK-USA companies.. You don't have to agree with it all, but you don't have to argue with people that do like and prefer the NGF Corrected inserts. Everyone has the right to make a choice if they like something or not.

Everything NeoGeoFreak/NGF-USA has ever done, other people attempt to emulate. 

NGF was the first to offer corrected inserts, and some 7 years later other people and even www.neo-geo.com attempt to follow our lead and do the same thing with their "classic" inserts. It is the exact same thing, except the NeoGeoFreak/NGF-USA inserts have been authorized by SNKPlaymore and US Federal Court, and SNKPlaymore offered a public awareness press release.  We have not heard or seen any information as to believe whether or not any other inserts are official. No other statements from SNKPlaymore have been issued showing authorization from other people or web sites that are now offering their own versions of NeoGeo type inserts. Buyers must beware and note that the NeoGeoFreak/NGF-USA inserts are the only official and fully authorized third party NeoGeo inserts currently available. NeoGeoFreak/NGF-USA is not affiliated with other people or web sites offering NeoGeo inserts that may be violating copyright infringement laws.

For years people complained that they wanted to see some official statement from SNK that the NGF inserts were official. Well, by Federal Court order SNK-Playmore had to issue the public statement that the NGF corrected inserts are official and authorized! (as per our settlement agreement). We hope this can clarify some of the rumors being spread.

Where is the official statement verifying and authorizing other sites "classic" and "corrected" inserts??

 Playmore Corporation and SNK NEOGEO USA along with the Federal Court in Santa Anna, California agree and confirm that the English version of The King of Fighters 2000 was under full approval and acknowledged in court, under oath, that the rights and all artwork for the packaging are authentic. SNK representative Hirsohi Miyajima, formerly in charge of SNK's International Department, signed a declaration under oath confirming the authenticity of the game and English packaging exclusively sold by NeoGeoFreak. Playmore Board of Director Misumi Nigano, SNK NeoGeo USA President E.Davalos, along with their attorney's submitted the declaration of the games authenticity on January 15, 2003.
