Introduction                                           May 29, 2000

My name is Karl Boucher , and I’ve been a Neo Geo collector since 1991. I was 26 years old back when I bought my Neo AES system at Electronics Boutique. A store which has long since stopped carrying the Gold system. Since then I have bought software at a variety of stores by mail order. Gamefan, Telesaurous, Japan Video Games, Dragon Video, Gizmo’s Games and Gadgets, Masco’s to name a few places I traced down some Neo carts.

Now with the internet it is greatly easier to find Neo Geo items. When I first got online I had a sizable collection of about 70 carts. But then there were the "MVS only" games, that I knew of ,but could never understand why no home version was released. All that changed when I met Dion Dakis  and NGF online. Now I am just about at 130 completely different Neo AES cartridges, including The Irritating Maze.

He provides an excellent service of getting these MVS only games made specially for home use.
And to top it all off the games come with an insert, sticker, and manual to make the converted cart all complete as possible. The game I consider my first NGF unreleased game is Shock Troopers, even though my first order was for 6 NGF unreleased games all at once.

I am very pleased to see these NGF released games in my collection. I never thought I would ever have them.

Now , some might say  "Why get converted carts when you can get the MVS cart and a MVS board for the same or less money?"...All I can say is that it is a personal preference. For me...my collection was already nearly complete, so I decided to stick with home carts and get converted games. (And home carts look better on display)
